I am a veterinary surgeon and artist, based in Wiltshire. Having immersed myself in science for many years, I eventually gave in to the need to paint. I find a healthy dose of creativity does wonders for my sanity, and have realised that life is too short to not attempt a foray into the art world. I now divide my time between my two professions.
My work is currently available as originals, prints, cards, and an expanding range of homewares. These can be ordered either by contacting me directly, or on our shop page. I also offer some products to trade buyers – please get in touch if you wish to discuss this.
I live in Bradford on Avon with my husband Giles and our young daughters Evelyn and Ada. When I got married in 2018 I changed my name from Olivia Hicks to Olivia de Rivaz (pronounced DUH-REE-VARZE!), and now paint under this name.
